My Story!
Steven Martella (He/Him/His) is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music with a BM in Musical Theatre. A Richmond VA native, Steven began his acting journey in highschool. However, he didn't realize he wanted to be an actor professionally until he turned 18. After failing to get into a performing arts program while trying to transfer out of his local Virginia college, Steven knew he had to make a change if he wanted to pursue his dream. He worked two jobs and put all of that money into voice, acting, and dance classes before reapplying the following year. It was through his work and determination that he was accepted into MSM with a scholarship and moved to NYC and It was through NYC that Steven nurtured his three greatest passions: Musical Theatre, Food, and Games!
Steven grew up loving storytelling. Its why he wanted to become an actor. His love blossomed even further when he discovered his favorite hobby, Dungeons and Dragons. He shares his passion for this game with his worldwide audience on both TikTok and Twitch and even made his Off-Broadway debut in Here There Be Dragons the D&D musical!
Right now Steven lives in Manhattan, serves at a ramen shop, and hopes someday he'll play Enjolras in Les Mis (his dream role) but for now Steven is ready to take on the business and the world, optimistic for the future.
What am I up to?
Steven is thrilled to be heading down to Fort Myers, FL to join the ranks of Plaids all across the nation as Francis in Florida Rep's production of Forever Plaid running Sep 17th - Oct 27th!
